| INVISIBLE BRACES |
|
| Invisalign or OrthoClear (the next generation of clear retainers) are used in minor treatment cases to align upper and lower front teeth that have rotation and/or spacing. These clear aligners are replaced approximately every three weeks in a series of aligners that have been computer generated. Treatment time varies from 6-12 months to align the upper and lower front teeth. Clear retainers have shown that alignment of the teeth in more difficult cases is not appropriate and cannot be used. Patients that have crowded upper and lower front teeth that are within the range of treatment of these clear retainers can have a significant benefit to alignment of their teeth without anyone knowing that they are actually wearing the aligners. A consultation appointment to evaluate your individual needs and whether or not you qualify for the clear aligners is required. A final clear aligner will be made to maintain the teeth following your treatment. These aligners need to be worn permanently at night for two to three nights per week. |
